Covid and Covid vaccines: long-term impact on heart disease
When it comes to long-term safety of the covid vaccines, all we have is theoretical evidence based on theories that wrongly predicted that these will not cause clots or myocarditis: remember december 2020 when all experts were claiming with full confidence that the Covid vaccines have no safety issues? It is very hard to judge biological theories and I don’t know any better than just judging the theoretician based on: 1) how much the theoretician knows about the observations/experiments that can confirm or refute theories in their domain (a good theoretician should try very hard to find observations that refute their theories) 2) do their predictions usually come true over time.
When it comes to blood clots and heart disease, I don’t know any theoretician better than Malcolm Kendrick. Thus I think his post on clotting and SC2 spike protiens is worth a read: it lays out theoretically why both Covid and spike-protein-based Covid vaccines may be dangerous in the long term in terms of vascular diseases like heart disease, stroke. There are already some concerning reports about increase in heart attacks among the young in Israel when they started to be vaccinated in 2021 (correlation =/=> causation, but warrants caution):
For anyone interested in heart disease, I highly recommend reading every post at the blog of Malcolm Kendrick. He is listed as suspicious at rationalwiki.org for questioning the cholesterol hypothesis of heart disease, which despite being the leading hypothesis of heart disease, fails to explain most of the observations around heart disease. 10 years ago, I used to never listen to doctors listed as suspicious on websites like quackwatch.org, rationalwiki.org, but I have learned the hard way (I hope to write about it soon) that many of them are right and many of the most dangerous quacks are disguised as top health/medicine professors of top US universities/NIH/CDC/FDA/AHA/ACIP…
